FULL PROGRAM:
Location: Goongerah campground.
Dates: April 7-10, 2023
Friday 7 April
6pm onwards - Warm welcome - Gather around the campfire and enjoy a bowl of soup (bring bowl & cutlery)
Saturday 8
10am - Welcome to the camp.
11-5pm - Guided walks:
Three Gems with David Cameron, Threatened Rainforest Walk with Rena Gaborov, Cathedral tree walk.
7pm onwards:
Blockade circle: blockading stories around the campfire + live music with Elfi Schieren.
Sunday 9
10-4pm: NVDA training with Forest Conservation Victoria (tree climbing, knots and skills)
12-3pm: Protest crafts (banner making & stencils)
5pm - DFT (Deep Fried Tofu)
6pm - Jill Redwood talk: EEG court case history
7.30pm - FRANKLIN screening + short films
Monday 10
10am - Wrap up to the camp + Banner drop
11am - Agroforestry farm visit @ Regeneration Trust
Please be aware that you need to be self-sufficient for the duration of the camp (food+shelter+transport). Goongerah is an isolated valley with no shops or petrol nearby. There is no power at the campground or phone reception in Goongerah. For internet, the Goongerah Community Hall has free community wi-fi (2km from the campground). Basic drop toilets are available at the campground.
Bring warm clothes and wet weather gear as weather can change quickly, especially up in the Errinundra Plateau (1,000m above sea level).
