Kuark forest old growth about to be logged

FRCF022280_copy_2.jpgA road has been pushed into the ancient Kuark forest and logging could commence any day.

The forest is one of the most significant stands of old growth forest remaining in Victoria.

Logging has not yet started, so there's still time to stop it

Please email the Minister! Call on her to stop the logging of this ancient forest and complete the state government's current review of protections for large old trees in East Gippsland.

Please, please PLEASE protect this irreplaceable legacy. Do not allow the loss of habitat for the sake of toilet paper and wood chips!

Hope anyone could destroy this beauty in the name of jobs and money is beyond my comprehension. Spineless greedy idiots running this country. Time for a huge change for Australia before they sell it all.

Why can’t the government see the great benefits of preserving such a pristine and ancient world? To make it worse, they’re turning 400 year old trees into paper.
